A 50% deposit is required before any work begins on your song for recording and mixing sessions. Once the song is complete and you're satisfied with the revisions, we will request the final installment of payment before releasing your files.
All mixing and mastering packages include 3 free revisions, giving you the confidence that the final result will be exactly as you envision it. If you happen to need more than 3 revisions, additional revision sets can be purchased for £15 each. A single set of revisions covers multiple changes within a track (e.g., adjustments to vocals, drums, bass, and piano in a single track counts as one set).
When submitting your files, please include detailed mix notes outlining your production preferences, desired effects, and any reference tracks. Ensure all files are exported in WAV format at 44.1kHz, 48kHz, or 96kHz, with all tracks starting from bar one. All files must be of the same length, format, and sample rate. If your DAW includes a ‘Normalize’ option during export, please ensure it is disabled. Tracks can be submitted as either mono or stereo, depending on your project.
I recommend providing all multi-track files in their raw state, free from effects such as EQs, compressors, reverbs, and delays. However, if certain effects or creative processing (like filter sweeps or delays) are integral to your vision, please include both ‘Dry’ and ‘Wet’ versions of the affected tracks, labeled clearly. For tuned vocals processed with software like Melodyne or Auto-Tune, please include printed versions of the pitch-corrected tracks and, if possible, both “Raw” and “Tuned” versions.
If your session includes MIDI or virtual instruments, please export these as audio files, as I do not accept MIDI files for mixing unless explicitly requested for replacement, which may incur additional production charges.
We recommend submitting your files in 24-bit / 44.1kHz or 24-bit / 96kHz WAV or AIFF formats. Please ensure there is at least 3dB of headroom and avoid applying limiting or compression on the final mix bus.
Do not send MP3, m4a, ogg, Vorbis, or WMA files, as these are data-compressed formats and cannot achieve a high-quality master.
IMPORTANT: If you have mixed into compression and/or limiting on your final bus, please send that version as a reference but ensure you also provide a version without limiting for mastering.
When submitting your project for mastering, please provide the following:
Stereo Mastering:
Full Mix: A 32-bit or 24-bit WAV file of your final mix.
Explicit Content: If your song contains explicit content, provide both explicit and clean versions.
Optional:
Backing Track: To receive a mastered backing track.
Instrumental: To receive a mastered instrumental.
Stem Mastering:
Stems: Submit 24-bit WAV stems tailored for mastering, ensuring that no file peaks above 0dB true peak.
We keep all project files—including mixes, masters, and any other materials—on our system for eight weeks following project approval and file delivery.
After this period, you are responsible for the storage and archiving of all files, including mixes, masters, and source materials. While we make every effort to back up sessions, final mixes, and masters, we do not provide a guaranteed archival service.
To ensure you have long-term access, we recommend downloading and securely storing all delivered files as soon as they are provided.
To ensure proper acknowledgment for any project I have recorded, mixed, or mastered, please provide credit in the following format:
